ABOUT KRYSTYNA

Krystyna Resavy is a New York based choreographer, creative, and dance educator who has a passion for bringing individuals together to tell unique and personal stories through movement. 

Immediately after earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Emerson College, Krystyna assisted Tony-award winning choreographer Christopher Gattelli on the Broadway musical, The Cher Show. Most recently, Krystyna choreographed The Prom at Sharon Playhouse starring Kate Baldwin, working alongside artistic director Carl Andress.  

Additional choreography credits include Guys and Dolls and The Wedding Singer at New London Barn Playhouse, Samsung’s Launch Event Move With Galaxy featuring Diplo and Gwen Stefani, Steps in Concert at the Joyce Theater, Onstage New York Gala (Opening Number), Leg Up On Life benefitting The Trevor Project (Sony Hall, HK Hall), Arts for Alzheimer’s, The Love Project, Jared Grimes’s Run The Night, New York City Dance Alliance, The Brearley School, and more. Favorite performance credit includes dancing in the film Isn’t It Romantic starring Rebel Wilson. 

Krystyna is currently on the Theater Jazz faculty at Steps on Broadway and Jazz faculty at the Steps on Broadway Academy.
